The pads also have high-visibility LED’s horizontally and vertically inserted around them which are fully customisable from the display menu allowing you to pair a certain colour to a certain sound making playability just that bit easier on stage. The fun doesn’t just stop at the pads Although the nine pads are at the forefront of the SPD-SX Pro, the sample pad also includes an array of external connectivity options to expand your drumming sound even further. With jack inputs on the back of the SPD-SX Pro you can connect electronic hi-hats, kick drums and snare drums for a “mini drum kit” setup ideal for small venues or home practice. Additionally, the Roland sample pad features a dedicated input for a hi-hat or footswitch expression control and inputs to add up to eight external individual triggers or pads.
